The 20-year-old has signed on to star in the upcoming flick, Beastly and Alex Pettyfer will be co-starring alongside her according to E!. Beastly starts shooting this summer in Montreal, Quebec.

A source reports, “Amy is fed up with all the stress and trauma that comes with being in London. She has made so many friends in St. Lucia and says it feels like home. When she returned to the UK in March she felt like a total outsider!”

Meanwhile it was announced yesterday by E! news that Miss Hudgens has herself a co-star for her upcoming movie “Beastly”.

The report tells that 19-year-old British actor Alex Pettyfer has been cast to star opposite Hudgens in the film, which is “a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast, for CBS Films.”
