Jude Law’s baby mama Samantha Burke, a 24-year-old aspiring actress from Pensacola, Fla., confirms that they will be having a daughter named Sophia.

“Samantha, her mom, and her family can affirm that Jude has been responsive and supportive throughout the relationship and pregnancy, and know that he will remain so as a father once Baby Sophia is born,” Samantha tells People in a statement. “Jude and Samantha remain committed to the health and well-being of this child, and appreciate your honoring her privacy during this special time. This remains a private matter between Jude Law and Samantha Burke.”

Turns out that Babies ‘R’ Us registry was spot on! Jude had a brief relationship Samantha he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last year.

Jude has three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost — Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6.

The 23-year-old actress then took her two dogs, Charlie and Ziggy, on a walk with a female friend.

Mischa is currently filming The Beautiful Life, her new model-centric series on The CW.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Mischa was released from the hospital after being placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold.

Jaime Pressly is engaged to entertainment lawyer Simran Singh, her rep confirms.

Tonight, the My Name Is Earl actress plans to celebrate her 32nd birthday with 50 of her closest friends at the rooftop bar Float in Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. (Her actual birthday was Thursday.)

Jaime and ex DJ Eric Cubiche separated last November after a two-year engagement. They have a 2-year-old son, Dezi.

Enjoying an afternoon lunch outing, Ellen Pompeo was spotted out to lunch at Joe’s Pizza at Sunset Plaza in Los Angeles on Friday (July 31).

The heavily pregnant “Grey’s Anatomy” star had a meeting with a friend and chatted with the owners of the restaurant before taking a box of pizza to go.

The day’s outing follows a week of filming on the set of her hit ABC show, during which time Ellen has been shooting scenes alongside Katherine Heigl.

Much awaited by fans, “Grey’s Anatomy” season six kicks off with the first episode set to air on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 9:00PM.

Cornered by paparazzi in his brand spanking new sports car, Jon Gosselin insists that everything about his family’s TLC reality show has been done for the benefit of their eight children and that the kids don’t mind the constant presence of cameras.

He says, “They make nicknames for them [the cameramen]. We all get along and play together. It’s comfortable for the kids to film. They look at this [filming] as life. No one has ever forced them to do anything. I’ve never forced them to film. We don’t force them to do anything they don’t want to do. They’re not actors and actresses. They just do their normal things.”

Despite statements to the contrary from the children’s aunt, Jodi Kreider, Jon said that he hasn’t seen or spoken to his estranged sister-in-law in months and months and that he Kate “love our kids” and that they have “always been there for them.” The show, he explains, was simply a way to afford all eight of them and “The whole premise of the show was to save money for the kids. Kate and I’s number one priority are our kids.”

Which makes us wonder how Octo-Mom’s show is progressing?
